Join this full-day wine tour to the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one of the most fascinating wine regions in the world, to discover its exceptional characteristics. Enjoy a comprehensive journey into the world of the winemaker and learn about vineyards, the winemaking process and wine tastings.
In the morning, you will discover the complex and famous terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape where the wine takes root by making a stop into the vineyards and learn about the grape varieties, climat and soils specific to the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Enjoy a private visit to an old château, understand the winemaking process and taste a selection some of the best wines of the AOC.
Next, visit of a family owned winery and enjoy a wine tasting of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine selection.
Discover Provençal cuisine with a delicious meal in a typical Provençal restaurant, paired with good local wines (not included in the tour price).
In the afternoon you will visit an organic winery and taste their wines made with a high respect of the environment.
Finish the tour with a private wine tasting in a old cave situated in the old Châteauneuf-du-Pape town. If the cave is not available then you will enjoy an additional wine tasting in a domaine or a château.
