La Bastide de Marie

An elegant, 18th century residence nestled amongst the Provencal vines

Product ID: 6416
Description

A warm welcome awaits you in this friendly stone country house or "bastide" – one that reveals its charm through its architecture with the delicate imprint of times gone by combined with contemporary decoration that has mastered the codes of this wild Provence without spoiling its character.
Here, old furniture patiently sought out in regional antique and second-hand shops is beautifully set off with Baroque items. The colours, lights and harmonies of the South have been imaginatively revisited.
The result is an ambiance that is simple yet chic. Here there are no numbers on the doors, but a different chromatic identity for each bedroom in celebration of nature's hues. Living areas where friendly cheer is the watchword all day long, with special moments spent around the fireplace, in the large lounge (their main feature!), or at the table laid out to honour one of the great secrets of Provencal life: the aperitif. This early evening ritual has a real charm to it, like an accent you never want to lose.

This early evening ritual has a real charm to it, like an accent you never want to lose.
The bedrooms in La Bastide de Marie are all exceptional places to stay. You will discover terracotta objects, unique furniture, antique lampstands and exclusive tables. For a really special experience, you could spend a Bohemian night in the “Roulotte”, or rent Villa Grenache.
Whatever the category (Classic bedroom, Bastide bedroom or Marie suite), all the rooms offered by La Bastide de Marie provide dedicated comfort and exclusive refinement. They stand out for their individual colours, which extend into the bathroom and are reflected in the walls, floors and shades of the furnishing fabrics. Spaces where a concern for the aesthetic still respects the need for privacy.
You have the option to add half-board option to your stay, with breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch or dinner including their own wine.
La Bastide de Marie is also home to Domaine de Marie winery, making it the perfect combination of accommodation and winery experience!
WINERIST REVIEW: From the moment you enter this place you can feel a lot of French character and charm. There is a lot of attention to detail here. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a Bohemian flare, soft earthy colours contrasted by bold red, green or blue details. And this is not by chance. La Bastide de Marie is the creation of Maisons & Hotels Sibuet, a luxury hotel chain co-founded by Jocelyne Sibuet, France’s ultimate interior designer. Read our full review on the Blog
