Governments may come and governments may go, but the vote that really matters is in the first-ever People’s Choice for Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year 2015, the world’s leading awards celebrating the art and diversity of food photography.
When the shortlist is published on Thursday 2 April from all the thousands of outstanding entries submitted, there will be more than 400 images to see and 18 short films to watch. So get looking and see which one you like the best!
There will be a two-week voting period, after which all votes will be counted. The photographer and film-maker with the most votes each will be invited to attend the glamorous Champagne Taittinger awards reception at the world-famous Mall Galleries, London, to receive their trophy in May.
It’s really easy to take part – just head to the website and click through to the Shortlisted Gallery and also the YouTube channel to take part in choosing the worthy winners of the inaugural People’s Choice.
With categories ranging from Food in the Field to Food and the Family, from the Politics of Food to Food for Celebration, there is an incredible range of subject matter and treatment.
So get the popcorn ready and enjoy a feast for the eyes – and help us select the first food photography and filmmaking stars by popular demand.
