Louis M. Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

10 Sep, 2018

Known as the King of Cabernet, Louis M. Martini founded his namesake wines in 1933, sourcing fruit from some of Napa and Sonoma’s most coveted vineyards. With access to such high quality grapes, it’s no surprise Louis M. Martini wines are still very much alive and thriving to this day. By implementing Martini’s original philosophies, methods, and traditions, their ever evolving lines of Cabernet Sauvignon have captured many wine-loving hearts.

One wine in particular reflects the best of the warm, narrow Dry Creek Valley and the hot, wind-cooled Alexander Valley. When blended together, these unique features paint a masterpiece. Superbly balanced with a soft, yet strong, tannin outline, the Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon is a young wine but approachable with the ability to age gracefully. With a rich combination of wild berries, plum, licorice, and mocha, with more to come as the wine ages. Don’t let the current age put you off; whether young or old this wine feels like the ultimate indulgence.
