Our weekly Vintelligence question! How good is your wine knowledge?
1. Which is considered the cheapest way to make sparkling wine?
Carbonation, or direct injection of the carbon dioxide into the wine (just as you would add carbonation to a soda), is the cheapest method. The resulting wine produces large bubbles that dissipate quickly. The second cheapest is the tank method.
