Sparkling

As a winery that boasts the accolade of an entry in the Guinness World Records for the largest wine collection in the world, Milestii Mici produces a flight of sparkling whites and reds in a range of sweetnesses.

Moldova de Lux Sweet White

A sweet sparkling made from Chardonnay and Aligoté. This wine should be served very chilled (6-8 degrees celcius) to enjoy the light mousse with sweet, zesty notes and flavours such as lemon posset. A perfect accompaniment to both creamy desserts and fruit salads.

White

Feteascǎ Regalǎ, Château Vartely 2015

This grape, indigenous to Romania and prolific in Eastern Europe, is most easily compared to Chardonnay – enabling the winemaker to produce styles ranging from racy and fresh to buttery and creamy, depending on his goal. As for this particular bottle, the 2015 is a crisp, aromatic and dangerously easy-drinking dry white packed with citrus fruit and floral notes.

Rara Neagrǎ, Purcari 2014

As a recognised name amongst Moldovan producers, Purcari do not disappoint in their expression of this local black grape variety. Densely-coloured, full, rich and spicy, this red displays notes of vanilla, clove and coffee together with bountiful black fruit flavours of plum and dark cherry. A wine that calls for some local Moldovan cuisine!
