Three cheers for wine photography! The hunt is on again for Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year
Do you have any wonderful photographs of your wine travels? Now in its third year, the Errazuriz Wine Photographer of the Year, a category of the prestigious international awards, Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year, is seeking the very best of wine-related images from around the world, and we are joining in the hunt.
With a top prize of £1000 and a year’s supply of wine from the premier, family-owned winery in Chile, the winner in 2014 was Jon Wyand, for his elegiac shot of Dominique Lafon tasting at his cellars in Burgundy.

There are three sub-categories – Product, People and Places. “We want to see really imaginative shots,” says Rupert Lovie, Brand Manager for Errazuriz. “Product is for the wine itself, even just a glass of wine. People, is for the charismatic and engaging craftsmen and women who make the wines, from the grandest estate owners to someone with a couple of acres of vines. While Place is for any striking wineland vista.”
The judging panel is joined this year by Eduardo Chadwick, President and owner of Vina Errazuriz, Abby Hocking, Online Photo Editor of Food & Wine, Time Inc, as well as stalwarts Sarah Kemp, Publishing Director of world-famous wine magazine Decanter, Joanna Simon, award-winning Wine & Food Editor, House & Garden and Yasia Williams, Deputy Creative of Mitchell Beazley, leading publisher of wine books.
