Discover and explore the two most fascinating and famous wine regions in France, Alsace and Burgundy, during this 7-day wine tour.
Itinerary:
Day 1: You will be picked up from Strasbourg airport or train station for a private transfer to your hotel in the heart of Strasbourg.
Day 2: Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before getting your first taste of the Alsace wine region. Departing from Strasbourg, you will spend the day exploring the northern part of the Alsace wine route.
From the village of Marlenheim to Dambach la ville, your tour will include visits and wine tastings in 4 carefully selected wineries. Learn directly from the winemakers who will present their wines to you while your expert guide introduces you to the complex Alsace wine classification including the Grand Cru system.

Day 2: Start your day with breakfast at your hotel before getting your first taste of the Alsace wine region. Departing from Strasbourg, you will spend the day exploring the northern part of the Alsace wine route.
From the village of Marlenheim to Dambach la ville, your tour will include visits and wine tastings in 4 carefully selected wineries. Day 3: Having discovered the north of the Alsace wine route the day before, today will be about the exploration of the southern part. Between Châtenois and Turckheim you will be taken to the most prominent wineries here to experience the best varietals produced in the area.
A delicious lunch will be served in Riquewihr, which is famed for being one of the most beautiful villages in France. You will also enjoy wine tastings in 4 different wineries each selected for the quality of their wines. 
Once you have indulged in the finest wines you will then head back to Colmar, a beautiful, quaint town, where you will spend the night.
Day 4: This morning continue your Alsace wine tour discovery by visiting two boutique wineries where you will be introduced to the Grand Crus produced south of Colmar.
After some free time for lunch, there will be a beautifully scenic drive to the Burgundy wine region. Spend the afternoon in Beaune and settle into your hotel for the night. 
Day 5: The Côte de Nuits wine region is most famous for reds made from pinot noir. You will discover some of the most famous Grand Cru appellations of this area including Gevrey Chambertin, Vougeot, Vosne Romanée and Nuits Saint Georges. 
Enjoy and indulge in several wine tasting sessions as you discover the famous Pinot Noir grape variety before spending another night in Beaune.
Day 6: Today the Cote de Beaune wine region is on your agenda, which begins between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Beaune and extends to the River Dheune. 
You will find the famous whites of Burgundy like Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet home to the finest Chardonnays in the world. The area has 7 of Burgundy's 8 white Grand Crus, along with a single red Grand Cru. 
You will be taken to some of the most famous appellations of the region and you can enjoy tastings before spending a third night in Beaune.
Day 7: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departure.

Payment Policy

A deposit of 30% is required on booking confirmation with balance to be made at least 30 days prior to 1st day of the tour.

Currency conversion is supplied as a guide only; the exchange rate used by your bank may vary. The final payment will be charged in the local or original local currency shown.


Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made 91+ days prior the departure there is a charge of 20€ pp. For cancellations 59-30 days prior to the departure the charge is 30% of booked fare. 29-15 days prior to the departure 75% of booked fare. For cancellations made 14 days or less prior the departure the charge is 100% of booked fare.
