This gourmet city tour will take you to the most distinctive producers of local delicacies.
 
Itinerary:
 
9.00 am: Meeting point in the center of Bordeaux.
Start your day by smelling the flavors of the fresh bread just coming out of the oven and share this moment with the passionate baker.
Your next stop, will be the shop of the most famous chocolate maker in Bordeaux, where the secreta of their recipes are being kept for several generations. Thierry, the owner of this mythical place will make you taste different chocolates with amazing tastes: ginger, green tea, or olive.
Before lunch enjoy a "Tour de France of Cheese" in a cheese shop in Bordeaux, and learn the know-how and the characters of famous cheeses, such as Comté, Roquefort, Brie.
You will finish your gourmet tour with a lunch in a nice building from the 18th century, enjoy a buffet in the dining room, and eat the products you bought in the morning, as well as some cannelés: typical little cakes from Bordeaux....

9.00 am: Meeting point in the center of Bordeaux.

1.45 pm: Leave Bordeaux and drive through the "Chateau Route" of the Medoc. The guide will provide you with all the information about the Bordeaux and Medoc wine regions.
 
2.45 pm: Arriving in a charming and authentic family-run estate (Chateau Paloumey, Chateau Chasse-Spleen, Chateau Siran). Feel the intimacy and authenticity of a private chateau run by a passionate family for generations. Start the visit in the vineyards, in front of the château and discover the cellar. 
Enjoy a 20 minute tasting class and become a wine expert. Intense color, woody aromas, tannic taste... What does it mean? You will learn the steps of a proper tasting and educate your nose in order to identify the wine's aromas. You will be given tips and learn tricks to taste like a pro! At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a tasting of the chateau's wines.
 
4.30 pm: Visit a Great Classified Growth estate. Visit the vineyards, the vat room and the cellars of the one of the most prestigious chateaux of Bordeaux. Enjoy some explanations about their winemaking process, from the vine to the bottle. Finish the visit with a tasting of the estate's wines while enjoying an aperitif with French delicacies (cheese, fresh bread).
 
7.00 pm: Back in Bordeaux. It's time for a "before dinner drink" - a glass of the Bordeaux wine.

Payment Policy

  • 100% payment by credit card is requested upon reservation. 
  • A receipt is systematically sent to the client by email. Last minute reservations must be financially settled before departure, by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or in cash. 
  • A receipt is issued for the client at the time of payment.  
  • The reservation is considered as accepted by the client upon signature of the order form.
  • Payment: 40% upon reservation, 40% 21 days prior to the visit, the remaining amount (and any additional costs) following the service, to be paid upon reception of the invoice.

Currency conversion is supplied as a guide only; the exchange rate used by your bank may vary. The final payment will be charged in the local or original local currency shown.


Cancellation Policy

  • Up to 7 days in advance: 100% reimbursed.
  • Under 7 days in advance: no reimbursement.
  • Modification of the date is possible according to availability.
  • If the Company is responsible for any cancellation (dangerous weather conditions, mechanical problems with the transport, unexpected health problems for the guide) the client is entitled to a full reimbursement.
  • The deposits are not reimbursable in the case of the client cancelling the service.  The Company reserves the right to cancel the service if the payment conditions are not respected. The Company reserves the right to modify the program, with equivalent offers, according to the availability of and cancelations by their service providers. The Company is to inform its client in writing of any modifications. Any modification made does not entitle the client to any reimbursement or compensation.
