Description

Experience the real essence of the Chilean countryside on a visit to two of Casablanca Valleys most innovative vineyards.

Having been picked up from your accommodation, your first stop will be the small boutique winery, Attilio & Mochi Vineyard, where you will enjoy a personalized tour by the vineyard’s owners followed by a tasting of their premium wines.

Next, it’s off to the second vineyard, Matetic, which is beautifully located in the Rosario Valley, where you will see sheep and alpacas grazing on the hillsides. Founded as recently as 1999, Matetic has been an innovative addition to Chilean winemaking with its introduction of organic and biodynamic methods to its wine-making process. You will enjoy a tasting here.

Finally, your tour will take you to Pomaire, famed for its interesting clay pottery and other handicrafts. Here you can browse small shops bursting with artisan treasures, observe local artists, find souvenirs, and try some delicious traditional Chilean food. Pomaire is also known for being the home of the largest “empanadas” in Chile!

This is a wonderful, relaxing day out of the city.
