Itinerary: 
 
Day 1: You will be picked up fro the airport and transferred to your hotel in Porto. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.
Day 2: Visit the 16th-century Jeronimo’s Monastery (UNESCO), the Monument to the Discoveries, honoring intrepid Portuguese explorers and their patrons, and the impressive Belem Tower.
Visit an old patisserie that has managed to hold on to the secret recipe of Portugal’s finest pastry for over 100 years and enjoy a demonstration and tasting of the famous ‘pastéis de Belem’.
Its unique narrow streets, lined with whitewashed chapels and white houses edged in blue, are the perfect place for thoughtful wandering. Continue to the town of Sintra, a UNESCO site and the favorite summer house of Portuguese kings for six centuries. Here, peruse specialty shops filled with Portuguese handicrafts.

Day 4:  Your day on Portugal’s “Silver Coast” begins in the medieval walled town of Óbidos village, surrounded by medieval walls and by its whitewashed houses. Don’t forget to drink Ginja, a Portuguese liqueur made by infusing ginja berries, the second most popular alcoholic drink in Portugal after the Port wine.
Visit the imposing sanctuary of Fátima, a centre of Catholic faith and destination for pilgrims from across the world. Spend the night in Porto.
 
Day 5: Elected Best European Destination 2012 by the European citizens, Porto is filled with history, architecture, culture, gastronomy, trade, encounters and discoveries. Enjoy a walking tour in Porto, visit the city’s historical centre of world heritage and monuments of Porto.
Itinerary: Torre dos Clérigos, Livraria Lello e Irmão, Avenida dos Aliados, Estação de S. Bento, Ponte Luís I, Sé Catedral (optional: entrance in museum), Bairro da Sé and Ribeira.
In the afternoon enjoy a Port wine tasting and a Fado performance. 
 
Day 6: Discover the Douro Valley and some of the best vineyards in Portugal that open the doors to the culture and community that are behind the country’s history. Enjoy an unforgettable journey through the beautiful landscapes of scenic mountains and wonderful views. Enjoy a delicious lunch.
 
 
Day 7: Enjoy a guided tour of the city of Braga, known as the “Portuguese Rome”, for its concentration of religious architecture, as the oldest Cathedral of the country. Founded in Roman times, with the name of Bracara Augusta, this city has over 2000 years of history.
In the afternoon you will visit Guimarães, a historic town, exceptionally well-preserved and an authentic example of the evolution of a medieval settlement into a modern town. (Optional: visit the museums and monuments).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be made in writing. The following charges and refunds will apply when cancellation is made after the booking is confirmed 

If a trip is canceled more than 90 days prior to start date:
• Any cancellation fees, surcharges, or non-refundable deposits charged to Eco Trilha Viagens e Turismo by individual hotels or other third parties will be charged.
• The remainder of any deposits paid to Eco Trilha Viagens e Turismo will be refunded.

If a trip is canceled between 90 and 45 days prior to start date:
• Any cancellation fees, surcharges, or non-refundable deposits charged to Eco Trilha Viagens e Turismo by individual hotels or other third parties will be charged.
• Additionally, a cancellation fee of 15% of the total trip cost will apply.
• The remainder of any deposits paid to Eco Trilha Viagens e Turismo will be refunded.

If a trip is canceled between 45 and 30 days prior to start date:
• Any cancellation fees, surcharges, or non-refundable deposits charged to Eco Trilha Viagens e Turismo by individual hotels or other third parties will be charged.
• Additionally, a cancellation fee of 25% of the total trip cost will apply.
• The remainder of any deposits paid to Eco Trilha Viagens e Turismo will be refunded.

If a trip is canceled within 30 days prior to arrival date
• 100% cancellation fees will apply.
• No refunds will be made.

It is strongly recommend that each client purchases comprehensive tripc ancellation insurance (to be purchased through a third party insurer)
