Your day begins with a pick-up in Porto before you start moving South, towards the Bairrada region, famous for its gastronomy but also increasingly for the fantastic wines it produces with its characteristic variety: Baga. The sparkling wines produced here are of huge finesse and high creaminess, and the red wines are dark in colour and have a concentrated aroma.
 
The first stop will be in Aveiro. Here you will take a walk around the city famous not just for its canals and typical boats, but also for its Art Noveau and local pastries. While you are here you will taste Aveiro’s famous local sweet delicacy, soft eggs. This is a real gift from the Nuns to the World!
 
Next, you will move on to the heart of the Bairrada region, where you will find the Aliança Underground Museum. Here you will visit the underground tunnels where all the art is stored and taste three award-winning sparkling wines.

To end your day, you will visit the cellar owned by the man that personifies the Bairrada - Luis Pato! Here you will visit his winery and taste the delicious nectars that he is famous for. You cannot miss this! Then you will return to Porto.
