Our day begins in Porto, the unconquered city. We start the tour and point to the east, where the Alto Douro awaits us!
Our first stop in the Douro region will be at a Wine Estate in Favaios, where they specialize in Moscatel wine, a golden wine with delicious flavor and subtle aroma. Enjoy the complexity of this dessert wine that blends the Muscat grapes of the region with a variety of fruits.
We leave now for the historic Village of Pinhão where a regional lunch awaits us in a beautiful local restaurant, but on our way we still get a chance of visiting one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the region.
Now, with your stomach filled, move into the next Wine Estate. Here you’ll get to understand how both Douro DOC Wine & Port Wine are made having the possibility of tasting both styles at an historical Wine Estate. Understand how the effects of the region's climate and rich soil influence the grapes, learn about the special storage techniques that result in these distinctive flavors and hear about the preparation of both unfortified and fortified wines.
Then, drive next to...

I'm a Portuguese tour guide from Porto that has been running tours in the area for a while now. My post-graduation is in Tourism and Hospitality Management and I've worked in Hotel and Travel agencies before launching this company. Our tours focus on the wine regions of Portugal, like the Douro Valley, the Dão and the Vinho Verde Region. We run small group tours of 2 to 16 people ( in vehicles that take 5-9 people at time) as well as Private tours.
