Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime harvest experience in the birthplace of wine, Georgia, with this 7-day harvest tour.
During this week long tour, you will come to understand Georgian hospitality which is warm, friendly and inviting. You’ll visit ancient monasteries, and learn everything there is to learn about the wine traditions that have been a part of this culture for 8000 years.
October or Month of Wine in Georgia, is the traditional harvest month. Participate in the harvest and make your own wine which will then be sent to you with a personalised bottle upon bottling. (limitations apply). 
Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon your arrival in Tbilisi in the early afternoon, settle and visit the old town or the sulphur bath.
Enjoy an introductory talk followed by a wine tasting at Vino Underground or Vinotel cellar. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 2: Visit the Samtavisi medieval cathedral, a rectangular 4-piered cruciform domed church and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Next, visit a winemaker and beekeeper, and enjoy lunch and a wine tasting.

Visit the Uplistsike Cave City before returning to the hotel in Tbilisi. Go on a walking tour of the city, and visit the National Museum of Georgia (if not done on first day due to arrival times)
Day 3: Today you will visit Mtskheta, one of oldest cities of Georgia, near Tbilisi. Mtskheta was a capital of the Georgian Kingdom of Iberia during the 3rd century BC - 5th century AD. Here Georgians accepted Christianity and Mtskheta still remains the headquarters of the Georgian Orthodox Church.
Discover the Svetitskhoveli cathedral, the second largest church building in Georgia and a UNSECO World Heritage Site along with other historical monuments of Mtskheta, and St-Nino Samtavaro Monastery, a complex built in the 11th century. It contains the grave of queen Nana and  Mirian III, the king of Iberia, who established Christianity as official religion in Georgia. The famous Georgian monk Gabrieli is buried inside the Samtavro church as well.
Next, visit Jvari Monastery, a Georgian Orthodox monastery of the 6th century near Mtskheta. The name is translated as the Monastery of Cross. The great church represents the peak of the architectual typology. It is a true architectual masterpiece of the early Medieval period overlooking the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers from the top of the hill.
Make a stop at Iago’s winery to learn about Qvervi and enjoy a wine tasting and home-cooked lunch.
Drive to Kakheti, at Chateau Mere, your accommodation for the next two days, where you will also serve dinner.
Day 4: Participate in the harvest festival and stomp grapes for wine made in Qvevri. Then, help create your own exclusive wine which will then be sent to your home once ready to bottle.
Lunch will be served at the winery, and then you will have free time at the hotel with options to horse ride or participate in a cooking class.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Supra dinner and celebration with Simon Ruadze – Tamadas.
Day 5: Visit Alaverdi Monastery and Wine Cellar and enjoy a tasting of their bright orange wine produced since 1011.
Later, you will visit Ikalto Monastery, famous as one of the most significant cultural-scholastic centers of Kakheti as well as of the whole of Georgia.
Stop at Shumi Winemakers and discover their wine library and wine museum, followed by a wine tasting and lunch at the winery.
Head to the historic town of Sighnaghi, famous for fine wines and traditional Georgian carpets. Check in at the hotel, and you will have some free time (can have options here).
Visit Pheasant’s Tears for a wine tasting before returning to the hotel for Supra dinner with traditional dishes, dancers and singers.
Day 6: After breakfast at hotel, you will visit the Bobde Monastery, relics of St. Nino.
Check out and head back to Tbilisi, stopping for lunch at a winery on the way. Check into your hotel in Tbilisi and enjoy some free time to relax.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at one of Tbilisi’s most innovative and exciting winery/restaurants.
Day 7: You will have the morning free to enjoy the sulphur bath, visit the flea market or the old town, or just relax (if there are no early morning flights).
You will then be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
