Enjoy a walking tour of the city of Evora, in Alentejo. Topped by an imposing cathedral, Évora is on sloping hill out of the huge Alentejo plains. A walled city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with narrow streets of Moorish origin contrasting with squares full of light, Évora was conquered by the Romans in 59 BC, named as Liberalitas Julia.
After the Portuguese reconquest in the 12th century, an urban area grew beyond the city walls. The city was very important for several Portuguese kings of the first and second dynasties. Visit a cork factory, where you can discover the process of transforming raw cork into the products that are sold all over Portugal. Portugal is the world's leading manufacturer of cork and represents 53% of world production. In spite of corks being the most familiar object, many other things are made of cork, especially in areas where it grows as Alentejo, where 72% of the total production is concentrated.
After lunch you will visit Ravasqueira Winery. Owned by José de Mello family for many generations, the estates occupies a property with oaks and cork oaks. A winery with old traditions, but modern in its wine production. Endowed with excellent geological and climatic conditions to produce the best wines that Alentejo can offer, it produces distinctive quality wines.
Walk in the vineyards, explore the wine cellar, a museum of carriages, gardens, and enjoy a wine tasting of award-winning wines. The estate also offers a wide range of other activities associated with cork, olive oil, honey and cattle breeding and Lusitano horses of quality.
Return to Lisbon, crossing the Bridge 25 April, a copy of the American Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Payment Policy

In order to confirm a reservation of a multi-day tour package the customer must deposit 50% of the full quotation, settling the remaining amount 30 days before arrival. 

The budget sent to our customers expire after 15 days. After that period, prices may increase due to several changes according to availability of the hotel partner, transportation partners, tour guides, and other services included in the packages.

Currency conversion is supplied as a guide only; the exchange rate used by your bank may vary. The final payment will be charged in the local or original local currency shown.


Cancellation Policy

The agency reserves the right to cancel the package if the number of participants is less than the minimum required. In these cases, the customer will be informed in a written message, and the Agency exonerated from any responsibility for the cancellation.

In case of NO-SHOW (no show upon date, time and meeting point), the agency will not make any refund of the amount relating to the trip of that customer. It applies to all services.

If the client prefers, and if possible to the travel agency, changes can be made to departure dates, hotels, room type, vehicle transportation, selected restaurants and places to visit, with at least 15 week days in advance.

Customers may also reallocate their participation and payment with a substitute person who satisfies all the conditions required for the trip, provided of notification to the agency at least 15 days in advance and acceptance of service providers included in the trip.

Whenever there are sufficient reasons, the agency may change the order of the itinerary or services provided, like hours of departure or replace any hotel initially planned by others of similar category. If unforeseen circumstances force the agency to suspend any trips, customers will be entitled to reimbursement of the amounts already paid.

At any time the customer may withdraw from the tour package / stay by written communication. The agency's refund policy varies depending on the type of product, day trips or tour packages.

The percentage indicates how much is returned to the client for what has been paid until the time of cancellation:

  • More 24 hours before the service 100%
  • Less than 24 hours before the service 0% (no refund)
