Tour type: Group , Duration: 4 Hours

Product ID: 53591
Description

Learn how to make orecchiette, the typical Puglian pasta with a hands-on cooking class at Terra Jovia winery in the heart of Puglia.
Terra Jovia was once a manor in Borgo San Vito in the small village of Gioia del Colle, built by Vincenzo Monte in 1788. The main activities of the manor have always been agriculture and breeding but especially wine growing and vinification, with an entire wing fitted out for this purpose. The origin of the wine made here, the Primitivo of Gioia del Colle DOC, dates back more than three thousand years.
During the cooking class you will learn how to mix the ingredients, knead, cut the pasta, and cook it under the guidance of an experienced chef.
Then, enjoy the fruits of your labour over lunch with the chef and recapture the spirit of Puglia. Lunch will be paired with Primitivo Terra Jovia wines from the Terra Jovia estate.
