Pablo Neruda, who won a Nobel Prize for poetry, built his house overlooking the Pacific Ocean to resemble the interior of a ship, filled with seashells, mementos, and treasures from the sea. On this visit, you will gain a fascinating insight into Neruda’s eccentric life and works.
 
Your next stop will be a tour and tasting at Matetic Vineyard, which is located in the Rosario Valley. Having introduced organic and biodynamic methods to their wine making process, Matetic Vineyard has become an innovative addition to Chilean winemaking and is also the pioneer in cool-climate Syrah production in Chile.
 
After the wine tasting, your journey will continue to Pomaire, famed for its interesting clay pottery and other handicrafts.
