Description

Explore the highlights of Santiago and the rich taste of the local wines from a Maipo Valley Vineyard with this private wine tour.

The tour begins by driving around the main historical sites in downtown Santiago, including Plaza de Armas (Santiago’s main square), the Cathedral, City Hall, Historic Post Office, Monument to Chile’s Indigenous People, Old Congress Building, Supreme Court, Palacio La Moneda (The Government House), Santiago Stock Exchange, University of Chile, Municipal Theater, Museum of Fine Arts, and Santa Lucia Hill.

Then it continues through the vibrant bohemian neighbourhoods of Lastarria and Bellavista before heading to San Cristobal Hill where you will enjoy the most amazing panoramic views of the entire city and surrounding mountains.

Afterwards, you will choose to visit either Cousiño Macul Wine Vineyard or Aquitania Wine Vineyard. Both vineyards are located at the foot of the majestic Andes Mountains in the Maipo Valley. Cousiño Macul is a larger, more traditional vineyard founded in 1856 and continues in the hands of the founding family. Aquitania is a newer, smaller boutique vineyard, founded in 1990, which aims to produce only limited quantities of outstanding wines.
