Itinerary:

Arrival Day: Upon arrival, you will enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel’s Bistro Bar on the first evening.

Day 1: After breakfast, your guide will take you to visit the Biodynamic vineyards of Atha Ruja, where you will taste their fine wines paired with a platter of cheeses and cured meats.
Depending on what you prefer, you can be taken for a walk in the countryside along the Canyon or up a beautiful mountain path followed by a delicious lunch at a local restaurant or the hotel’s bistro.
In the afternoon you will visit the large Dorgali Wine Co-operative and indulge in some more tasting. If it is open at the time for visits, you can also visit the nearby cheese factory.
Then, you can either visit some of the most extensive underground caves, or time can be given for some more walking or you can be taken for a drive through the beautiful local scenery.
Dinner will be served at the Hotel Bistro.

Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit  a winery near Oliena and enjoy a wine tasting.
Lunch will probably be served at the winery or else at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon you will visit a second winery in the area, and enjoy a tasting of their wines.
Return to hotel and enjoy dinner at Hotel’s Bistro restaurant.

Day 3: Check out of the hotel and then travel to Cala Gonone from where you will be taken on a boat trip to the nearby sea caves full of breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites. There will be a further boat stop at a beautiful sandy beach, so bring swim wear with you (well if you have chosen a summery season).
Lunch will be served at beach restaurant or Cala Gonone or Nuoro, and then you will be transfered to the airport.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you would like to stay longer, you can add an extra night and enjoy this tour as a 4-day tour. Please get in touch.
The 4th day will be devoted to a private Italian cooking class, and you will then eat the fruit of your creation for lunch with some nice local Canonau wine.
Because there are no provision reservations for hotels or guide for Anytime Tours, it is essential to book at least 60 days in advance to avoid disappointment.
