Tour Overview
Enjoy a culinary and wine tour in the beautiful Croatian town of Kaštela, birthplace of Zinfandel, and experience a taste of local cuisine.
Your guides will be Frane, WSET certified sommelier and Jakov, a professional chef.
Your first visit will be to the local butcher's shop and fish and produce market located on the promenade of Kaštel Sućurac.
This is followed by a visit to the museum located in the bishops palace from the 14th century.
Next, visit a family-owned winery, Matela, where you will have a wine tasting of wines made from grape varieties which are exclusive to Kaštela.
Afterwards, enjoy a lunch prepared for you in the unique atmosphere of the typical Dalmatian Konoba ( tavern) and learn how the chef prepares local specialties.
Lunch is served with wines, and your sommelier will guide you in wine tasting.
