Description

Enjoy a true authentic truffle hunting, accompanied by an expert truffle hunter with dogs, through a typical Tuscan wood.
The truffle hunting excursion is organised on a farm located on the outskirts of Chianti and the Crete Senesi regions, just 10 km from the historic centre of Siena, on the site where in 1260 the famous battle of Monteaperti took place.

Enjoy the experience of "digging" a truffle out of the soil for the first time and learn all the secrets of Tuscan truffles, their characteristics, properties, differences and how to store and use them.

A truffle based dinner is available: starter, first course and main course with dessert, water, wine, coffee and Vin Santo sweet wine, the cost is 50€ pp. for minor truffles, 65€ pp. for the white truffle.
If you would like to learn how to use truffles, after the truffle hunt you can participate in a cooking class with Nonna Ciana in the large family kitchen of the Farm, with the following menu: crostini with truffle, hand-made noodles with truffles, eggs with truffles, as well as a sweet surprise, water and wine included. (130€ pp. for minor truffles, 145€ pp. for the white truffle)
