Meet your guide in Venice and relax during the drive as he tells you about interesting insights on local culture and daily life.
Visit an authentic castle set in a historically strategic position in the Veneto countryside. Learn about the history of the area and its noble owners as you visit the exteriors and interiors of the castle with a private guide.
Take a break for a delicious lunch at a typical trattoria of the area where you will taste the traditional specialties. The lunch will include an antipasto, fresh pasta and homemade dessert.
After lunch you will stop at a local winery that has been producing Prosecco for generations. Take a stroll through the vineyards, visit the cantina and enjoy a wine tasting led by an accredited Italian sommelier. You will taste at least four different types of Prosecco. Learn how Prosecco is made and about its important role in Veneto before returning to Venice.

Payment Policy

To complete your reservation, a deposit of euro 100 needs to be sent through PayPal  in order to confirm your tour.   The transaction will be processed by our US location in the name of Rhoda Erdman.

The balance will be paid in cash on the day of your tour or by paypal 10 days before the tour

Currency conversion is supplied as a guide only; the exchange rate used by your bank may vary. The final payment will be charged in the local or original local currency shown.


Cancellation Policy

Non-refundable administration fee of Euro 100/tour in case of cancellation more than 10 days before the tour date.

Cancellations made from 10 days before the tour date to the day before the tour results in full payment due.

Mario

Mario, a native of Milan, is a graduate of the University of Bologna, a certified Sommelier (Associazione Italiana Sommeliers) and Master Cheese Taster (Organizazione Nazionale Assaggiatori Formaggi). He has many years of hands-on experience organising specialised Italian travel. Mario is also an experienced wine educator, and particularly enjoys organising regular wine tasting seminars for the U.S. diplomatic corps in Italy. In the past Mario led a seminar on Italian wine and food for the undergraduate students of Boston University studying in Padova. One of his favorite areas in Italy is Valpolicella, famous for its Amarone wine, and frequently takes visitors there on vineyard tours and wine tastings, as a Veneto wine connoisseur.
