Today the Colli Euganei are well-known for their wines (13 of which carry the D.O.C. label) which include the warm Colli Euganei Rosso, classic Colli Euganei White, full-flavored Cabernet Franc, robust Cabernet Sauvignon, elegant Merlot, noble Pinot Bianco, sparkling Serprino, pleasing Moscato and finishing with the Fior d'Arancio and its delicate citrus notes.
You will visit two wineries, tour the vineyards and cellard and meet the winemakers. Enjoy guided wine tastings at each winery.
Enjoy a light lunch at a nearby local restaurant including home-made specialties and wine.

Cancellation Policy

An administration fee of 25 euro will be applied and it is not refundable. The cancellation fees are:

  • Cancellations more than 8 days before the date of the tour: no charge (except the administration fee of 25 euro)
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the date of the tour: 80% of the total amount
  • Total amount for no shows.

Mario, a native of Milan, is a graduate of the University of Bologna, a certified Sommelier (Associazione Italiana Sommeliers) and Master Cheese Taster (Organizazione Nazionale Assaggiatori Formaggi). He has many years of hands-on experience organising specialised Italian travel. Mario is also an experienced wine educator, and particularly enjoys organising regular wine tasting seminars for the U.S. diplomatic corps in Italy. In the past Mario led a seminar on Italian wine and food for the undergraduate students of Boston University studying in Padova. One of his favorite areas in Italy is Valpolicella, famous for its Amarone wine, and frequently takes visitors there on vineyard tours and wine tastings, as a Veneto wine connoisseur.
