Discover the Cape Winelands with this tour designed for wine lovers who would like to have a more informative and intimate wine tasting experince while in the area. Your guide is also a winemaker who knows the Cape Winelands very well.
 
During the day you will discover the behind the scenes of some of the best wineries around, you'll meet the people involved in the winemaking process and of course, taste their great wines.
 
You will be picked up in the morning and visit three wine producers with a break for lunch. The farms visited are smaller producers, no big commercial farms will be on our route, unless specifically requested. Each farm will offer a minimum of four wines to taste.
 
The route will depend on your personal taste and wine preferences, and will be discussed with you during the booking process. The areas that can be visited are Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Constantia and Elgin. You will explore a wine cellar, a vineyard and sit down with the people who made the wines and hear their stories while tasting their wines.

By the end of the day you will have had a fair view of the Cape Winelands, be more familiar with the iconic cultivars grown here and the best wines made as well as a better understanding of the process of wine production.
