3-Day Exclusive Wine & Food Tour in Bosnia & Herzegovina

Itinerary:

Day 1: Your guide will pick you up from Dubrovnik and take you on a scenic drive to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Upon arrival, check in at Stara Hercegovina boutique hotel that features a superb restaurant specialising in local cuisine. 

Enjoy a refreshment and a 3-course dinner paired with wine, followed by a tutored wine tasting of four local wines.

Day 2: After breakfast, visit a local market where producers sell their own produce. You will have the opportunity to taste famous local honey and unique cheeses matured in sheep’s skin.

Next, visit Tvrdos Monastery, which dates back to the 4th century. Enjoy a guided tour of the Monastery and a tutored tasting of the wines made by monks from 15th Century.

Enjoy a leisurely lunch in a local restaurant in a fantastic setting on the banks of river Trebisnjica.

In the late afternoon, visit a small family owned winery where you will taste several of their award-winning wines.

Drive back to your accommodation, rest and enjoy a delicious dinner afterwards.

Day 3: After breakfast, check out and drive to the city of Stolac to visit Daorson winery. Tour the winery and enjoy a wine tasting of two wines.

Next, visit the unique Vjetrenica Cave, before lunch in great local restaurant.

After lunch, drive to Croatia for a visit of the medieval town Ston on Peljesac peninsula, where you will see the second longest defensive walls in the world, and the Old Salt factory. You will also have the option to visit an oyster farm and taste oysters paired with wine.

In the afternoon transfer to the airport or your Dubrovnik hotel.
