Tour Overview
Discover Trebinje, a city of wine, poets, sunshine and monasteries and one of the most beautiful places in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina with this half-day wine tour.
On the way to Trebinje, you’ll be taking the scenic route through East Herzegovina, a natural paradise of mountains, forests and stones.
The tour starts with a visit to the famous cellars at Tvrdo? Monastery, a 15th-century Serbian Orthodox monastery producing award-winning wines. Enjoy a tasting of four to six of their amazing wines.
Next, enjoy tastings of local cheese and cured meats.
Visit a family run wine estate for another wine tasting of 4-6 wines and hear the stories about the millennia-old tradition of wine producing.
The tour ends with a tasting of local products at the local market situated at the main city square in the shade of magnificent, old sycamore trees, where locals sell herbs, cheese, fruits, and honey.
