Day 01| BUBBLES AU-GO-GO

Our journey of taste begins in Reims, France’s Champagne capital, a place of rich medieval history, culinary excellence, and oh so many bubbles. Together with new friends and the local Tastemaker who brings this extraordinary trip to life, we take a Champagne-centric tour of the buzzy center and its elegant architecture.
Later, it’s time for a talk and tasting with a personable sommelier who gives us the lowdown on the local terroir and provides the background knowledge we need to make the most of our next few days of discovery. Dinner this evening is a festive family-style bistro affair accompanied by our favorite fizz.
Day 02| FIELDS OF FORTUNE
Vineyard cycle tour ⋅ Meet the makers ⋅ Chic Épernay apéritif
After a late breakfast we take the road south into Champagne country, where forest gives way to open sky and charming rural villages stretch as far as the eye can see. We board e-bikes for a gentle pedal through vineyards to meet some locals whose lives are defined by the grape, including small-batch Champagne producers and a celebrated organic farmer.
At a casual lunch among the vines our host tells us what goes into a bottle of the world’s most sought-after fizz. We spend the evening in the chic town of Épernay, starting with an apéritif at Cellier Belle-Époque, Perrier-Jouët’s ultra-atmospheric Champagne bar on the famous Avenue du Champagne. We share two very special cuvées from the Perrier-Jouët cellar served with seasonal snacks.
For dinner tonight, choose your own adventure. Options in Épernay range from Franco-Thai fusion to the most traditional of French fine-dining – your in-the-know Tastemaker will make reservations for you at their favorite spot.
Day 03| FROM MARKET TO TABLE
Chef-guided market tour ⋅ Champagne cellar visit ⋅ Decadent dinner
This morning we head into Épernay to visit local food market Halle Saint Thibault, guided by celebrated chef Sébastien Morellon from Perrier-Jouët’s Maison Belle-Époque, who’ll share his secrets for sourcing the best local ingredients.
The afternoon is yours to spend exploring Épernay. We highly recommend the fabulous museums dedicated to Champagne and the region – Pressoria, Musée de Champagne or quirky Cave aux Coquillages.
This evening, we gather at Maison Belle-Époque for an exclusive evening just for us in the historic home of Perrier-Jouët. We visit the historic cellar before enjoying an apéritif in the sublime Art Nouveau setting. Our final dinner, in the formal dining room, is a decadent three-course affair expertly paired with Perrier-Jouët Champagne. For those who want to
explore Épernay after dark, your Tastemaker will lead the way for a marc de champagne, the local digestif of choice.
Day 04| UNTIL NEXT TIME
This morning we will head back to Reims to catch the train into Paris or for onward travel. Au revoir!

Cancellation charge as % of the total cost of your booking excluding any amendment fees and/or insurance premiums:
More than 60 days before departure: Deposit amount
Between 60 to 35 days before departure: 50%
Between 34 and 22 days before departure: 75%
21 days or less before departure: 100%
Where the cancellation charge is less than the Deposit, the Deposit shall be charged. Some elements of your booking may also not be refundable.
