Tour Overview
Join this full-day wine tour in Central Otago to taste award-winning Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Rielsing and Gewurtztraminer amongst the vines, meet vineyard owners and be amazed at the stunning scenery.
You will visit 4 wineries and have a delicious cafe lunch. On weekdays (except over Christmas/New Year and during harvest) you will visit VinPro, Central Otago's largest contract winery, bottling plant and warehousing service. See behind the scenes and get a feel for the hard work required to get premuim wine ready for sale. You can also have a barrel tasting with the winemaker.
The wineries you visit may vary depending on where you start the tour but usually the tour is focused on the Alexandra/Clyde and Cromwell/Bannockburn regions. Favourite wineries include Two Paddocks (Sam Neill's vineyard), Judge Rock (consistent medal winner - tiny family vineyard), Como Villa with its historic tasting room, Serenditpity (taste wine with the lovely Jo in her kitchen), Aurum vineyard (voted New Zealand's best tasting house) as well as many others.

Please note: The tour can start in Dunedin or anywhere in Central Otago. The itinerary will vary according to the starting point.

Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled prior to 72 hours will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 72 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee. We recommend travel insurance.
