Engage in a unique and enriching experience in our full-day private tour through the historical centre of Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our visit prioritises Porto's rich historical heritage but also its emblematic settings. Experience the local traditional cuisine in a selected restaurant, indulge in the famous Port wine, take a relaxing 1-hour panoramic cruise and end the day with a panoramic tour that along the modern areas of Porto, and the mood-lifting ocean view in Foz.
Our private full day tour starts at 09:00 AM heading the old city centre of Porto. Admire the most important monuments, starting with a stop at the exterior of Sé Cathedral of Porto, a landmark in the old city centre where the city was born, continue with the panoramic view of other remarkable monuments such as, Batalha Square, Santa Catarina Street where you can find the iconic Majestic Café. Don`t miss the often described as one of the most beautiful train stations in the entire world, São Bento train station with approximately 22,000 tiles that depict some of the most important episodes in Portuguese history.
Our next stop will be close the bookstore Lello & Irmão with its stunning architecture, and the Clérigos Church and Tower a Nasoni masterwork.
Later in the morning you’ll visit a port wine cellar, learn how the wine is made, see some of the rarest bottles that currently exist, and enjoy a 2-port wine tasting.
Stop for a 3-course lunch with a drink, in a traditional restaurant in Ribeira, and take in the magnificent views while dining.
In the afternoon you’ll see the city from a different perspective on a 1-hour panoramic cruise, where you may relax and contemplate the 6 bridges that connect Porto to Vila Nova de Gaia, including the iconic D. Luiz I Bridge.
Lastly, have a panoramic tour along Ribeira towards the Atlantic Ocean as you travel to Castelo do Queijo in Foz, where you may take a break, have a snack, a drink, or just enjoy the magnificent views of the sea. Meet the modern architecture buildings up Serralves and Boavista and Casa da Música an icon of contemporary architecture designed by the Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas.
