Tour Overview
Visit two very different Scottish distilleries and enjoy a fun nosing and tasting, and a "Hauf and a Hauf" on this full-day tour from Edinburgh!
Having been picked up from the Hilton Caledonian Hotel on Princes street your tour will head North to Perthshire and the Tullibardine Distillery. Tullibardine distillery has roots going back as far as the 15th century and is an independent family-owned distillery. Here you will tour through the distillery leaning about the whisky process and how their handcrafted artisanal Highland malt whisky is made before having a chance to taste it yourself.
On leaving Tullibardine Distillery, your tour will head to the incredible Woodwinters Whisky Merchants in Bridge of Allan, where you will be able to enjoy a relaxed, fun and yet informative nosing and tasting session from some of their extensive whisky range.
Following on from this you will be taken to the close by JamJar restaurant/café for a terrific lunch including tea or coffee.
In the afternoon, you will visit Deanston Distillery near Stirling. Prior to beginning production of its whisky in 1965, Deanston Distillery used to be a cotton mill, and through the distillery tour here, you will learn all about its remarkable journey from heavy industry to delicious whisky making before enjoying two drams of its finest produce.
The last stop of the day will be at Innis & Gunn Edinburgh where you will finish the day with a ‘Hauf and a Hauf’ – a dram and a half pint of beer!
