Domaine Treloar

Boutique family winery

Product ID: 9482
Description

Domaine Treloar is a 10 ha estate, established in 2006 in the Roussillon by Jonathan Hesford and Rachel Treloar, after studying and working as a winemaker at a prestigious winery in New Zealand.
Our wines are produced exclusively from the grapes grown in our own ecologically-managed vineyards. Every bunch is picked and sorted by hand. The winemaking is non-interventional. No additions are made to the fruit, most of the ferments rely on wild yeast and fining agents are used only when absolutely necessary, as are sulphites. Wines will vary slightly with vintage conditions. We make consistently great wines, not consistent wine. In 2010 we were listed as one of Jancis Robinson’s favourite producers in the Languedoc-Roussillon, in 2011 we received our first visit from The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) which rated all our wines 87-91 points. In 2013 we were chosen as the Coup de Coeur of the Roussillon by Revue du Vin de France.
