Situated on the southern edge of the vendee plains and facing due the forest of Mervent-Vouvant, Domaine Coirier benefits from the exceptionally favourable amount of sunshine enjoyed by the area.
The respect for tradition linked with modern technology ensures that Domaine Coirier is always a well-balanced wine of distinction.
The unusual composition of its soil, mainly clay and sand, gives the wines of Domaine Coirier lightness and great elegance of their bouquets. Their Chenin and Chardonnay give the white wines a discreet fruity flavour. It goes particularly well with seafood such as oysters and crab. Gamay and Cabernet give the rosé the colour of raspberry and a lively taste of wild strawberries. It is best drunk fresh summer salads. Pinot Noir and Cabernet give blackcurrant aromas to the reds. It isthe perfect accompaniment to roasts such as ducks or pork. It can mature for three or four years.
