Raymond’s unique attributes led it to be named Sunset’s “Best Tasting Room – Experience Beyond Tasting” in 2011, the 2012 American Winery of the Year and the 2016 Wine and Culture Wine Star by Wine Enthusiast, and one of Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2013.

Visiting wine lovers can enjoy guided tours of the winery and a number of wine experiences. Become winemaker for a day in the Blending Room, learning the winemaker’s art while blending your own red wine from Napa’s esteemed appellations. Following the blending session, take home a bottle of your own special blend that same day featuring your own custom label; order cases of your personally-crafted wine to share with friends and family at any time!

The Red Room, a velvet lined room, lit by Baccarat chandeliers, is the ultimate Napa Valley escape from the hustle of the world outside. Not a tasting room, The Red Room is a “by appointment only” lounge, where you can enjoy bottle service, from a Sparkling Rosé to a variety of Cabernet. While here, you can relax and enjoy the art of conversation, play cards or maybe read one of the unique books offered.

A number of wine tastings are also available: an extraordinary tasting in the Red Room, a wine tasting straight from the barrel, wine tastings in the Crystal Cellar, in the Library, in Le Cabaret and so much more.

Finally, discover the two acre Theatre of Nature, the largest educational exhibit on Biodynamic farming in the Napa Valley. It showcases how all the “actors” in the Theater of Nature play a crucial part in crafting quality wine, from the soil to the vineyardist to larger forces such as the lunar cycle. Like a performance, the Theater of Nature is divided into five acts, with each act devoted to a particular component of nature.

Please note: No appointment is required for the main tasting room or Crystal Cellar, but all the other experiences require one. Please get in touch.
