Product ID: 32701
Description

Discover Vino Dessera vineyards, located in the ancient region of Thrace, only a short stroll away from a pre-Hellenistic site where archaeologists have uncovered a tradition of wine making that dates back thousands of years.
Vino Dessera is a family owned winery established in 2012. The owner of Vino Dessera Vineyards has always had a deep love of nature and concern for the environment. Inspired by the wild beauty of Anatolia, he has sought to protect its natural heritage by planting trees and preserving the ancient traditions of the land.
The birth of his first grandchild, Aleya, had a catalytic effect. Following an old Anatolian tradition, he planted 600 walnut trees and over the years he went on to plant thousands more in the stony hills of Thrace.  With the birth of his second grandchild, Ozan, he was inspired to start Vino Dessera Vineyards among the walnut groves and has since dedicated his time to the oldest and the most sacred occupation of viticulture. He has been joined by his son and daughter in this family business.
Vino Dessera is now producing 100.000 bottles of wine. Vineyards have been planted in 2000.
