Guado al Melo is a family-run winery in the heart of the Bolgheri appellation on the beautiful Tuscan coast. Michele Scienza and his family have been vintners for generation with Michele’s father, Attilio even teaching viticulture at the University of Milan. It’s fair to say that with such expert winemakers to show you around this impressive winery you will learn all about Italian wines and discover the secrets of fine winemaking.

The terroir of the vineyard is perfect for producing complex and elegant wines. Between the rich soil and the Mediterranean climate, Guado al Melo’s vineyards are perfectly placed for winemaking. 
The winery is open all year round for guests to visit and guests are free to wander.
