Wine estate owned by Castellani family

Product ID: 23899
Description

The Poggio al Casone vineyard is located on the first hills overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea in the municipality of Crespina, an ancient castle in the province of Pisa.
The Poggio al Casone vineyards are grown with organic methods, according to the philosophy of natural farming and are an important reference point for various research projects aimed at integrating conservation and human-plant-animal balance. The wines are the result of careful viticulture, which seeks to express faithfully the quality of the territory. The mild climate influenced by the proximity of the sea, the particular nature of light and sandy soil make it possible to produce wines with great elegance.
You will discover a wine cellar with modern facilities and advanced equipment for the vinification and bottling, but the oldest winery at Poggio al Casone, with vaulted ceilings, has been turned into a beautiful and unusual environment. You will have the chance to meet the staff who will tell you about their work and make you taste their wines.
The old cellar is today a multifunctional room where wine tasting is organized. It is also an exclusive location for conferences and meetings, Gala events and art exhibitions.
