TRAVEL AND PARTNERSHIPS SPECIALIST - SALES 2017
For role starting in January 2017
Winerist is looking for a dynamic individual to join the Sales Team as a TRAVEL AND PARTNERSHIPS SPECIALIST. This is an exciting opportunity to join our company and help us grow our revenues, expand into new wine regions and support our existing clients as well as proactively find new prospective clients. You will be responsible for driving and facilitating sales by providing a professional and efficient sale service. The role is commission based and suitable for a proactive individual who is passionate about wine, travel and is eager to use and expand their sales techniques and experiences.
The successful candidate will work from our office at Piccadilly Circus in London, although working from home can be negotiated and you may travel abroad as part of your role.
Pursuing all sales opportunities and leads on a regular basis with a view to sales conversion
Responding to client enquiries over email and phone
Designing unique travel itineraries for both private and corporate clients
Meeting sales targets
Providing feedback and proactively contributing to team performance
Building and expanding a client list
Making outbound marketing calls to our client database to promote new destinations and advise on future travel ideas
Keeping up to date with all available promotions to encourage sales
Managing and overviewing payments and other general administrative duties
Make suggestions on how to grow new destinations and new products
Be the first point of call for our local partners and providing them support with any registration, bookings questions
Previous travel industry working experience (desirably in a travel agency) - 3 years minimum
Wine knowledge and understanding of various wine regions (WSET certificate is desirable)
Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Sales skills and previous experience in a customer sales driven role
Easy going, proactive personality eager to work in a growing business
Language skills: French, Spanish, Italian are highly desirable
