Your accommodation will be in a lovely apartment right in the heart of the Etruscan hill town of Cortona and you will experience first hand the renowned wines, delicious dishes with centuries old traditions, and ingredients that are so genuine and fresh that all you need is a dash of olive oil to transform them into mouth watering meals. 

Your apartment is located on the top floor of a historical building, and it has 3 spacious bedrooms that are airy and comfortable. There is a large kitchen that opens to a dining/sitting room, creating a wonderful atmosphere for sharing time together. You can enjoy eating a meal or having a glass of wine on the large, private terrace while soaking in the breathtaking views of the valley beyond. The apartment is equipped with AC, heating, wi-fi, dishwasher and washing machine and the central location is near to all of the great restaurants, cafes and historical sites in town. The magic of Tuscany will be right at your doorstep!

Itinerary:

Day 1: Transfer on your own and arrival to Cortona where you will be greeted for your check-in and given an orientation. Upon arrival you will find a welcome Magnum bottle of a fine Tuscan wine, so you can get started with a true Italian aperitivo! 

Day 2: Visit one of the most important wineries of the area located in the soft hills between Cortona and Montepulciano. You will enjoy a private tour of the winery and wine cellar. After the visit you will have the chance to taste their wines in an amazing lunch with wine pairing.

Day 3: Enjoy an amazing food and wine experience in the coolest wine bar in town. Try 3 different local tapas paired with 3 different wines and learn about the art of paring with a sommelier introducing the wines and explain the reasons behind the pairing.

Day 4: This is a free day. You can choose to relax at the apartment or enjoy a variety of organised activities and excursions; visit beautiful hill towns like Montepulciano, Pienza or larger cities like Florence or Siena. 

Day 5: Departure day. Check-out from the apartment.
