Tour Overview
There’s no better combination than good wine and cheese. This annotated tasting experience features five carefully curated top-notch Hungarian wines (paired with a selection of Hungary’s best artisan cheese and charcuterie) to introduce you to the increasingly wonderful world of Hungarian wine.
The sommelier-led tasting gives an overview of Hungarian wine—including the history, the major regions, the important varietals, unique characteristics and styles, and promising trends. The wine selection changes daily, and includes whites and reds in different styles. The lineup always concludes with a glass of sweet wine from Tokaj, one of the world’s greatest sweet wines (and an essential part of Hungary’s wine story).
We love focusing on indigenous Hungarian grape varietals and unique local styles, so you may taste wines which you’ve never heard of (and may not easily find elsewhere). Our cheese and charcuterie board is a simple and perfect complement to the wine selection, and we are proud to source our cheese and charcuterie directly from the producers.
