Day 1 Arrival at the farmhouse, we settle in and explore the site
Upon your arrival, we will pick you up from Brindisi Airport or the train station and take you to your new home for the next week, Tenuta Linazza. This charming Salentine farmhouse is surrounded by olive trees and produces organic extra virgin olive oil. After settling into your rooms, you can unpack and relax before we take a walk around the farmhouse and share its history with you. We'll visit the oil mill and show you how we make our olive oil using traditional methods, followed by an olive oil tasting. In the evening, we'll have dinner at the farmhouse with fresh local produce.
Day 2 (Leuca by bicycle)
-After having slept away from the city and surrounded by nature, we woke up for breakfast of seasonal fruit and typical Salento sweets. (We adapt if someone has a special need).After breakfast, if time permits, we will make a beautiful bicycle excursion through different villages until we reach Leuca. Last stop before embarking on the short way back the Sanctuary of Leuca Piccola in Barbarano, where we visit the small church. At the end of the excursion, excellent tasting in the "Retrò" inn, where Salvatore - cosmopolitan chef and at the same time tied to its territory - will give us a taste of his skill and the freshness of his products.In the afternoon we will return to the farmhouse to later have dinner the delicious dishes that we will have cooked.
Day 3 (Pasticciottos'day) and Galatina
After breakfast, we'll visit Galatina, a city renowned for creating Pasticciotto, the most famous sweet in Salento. We'll visit the pastry shop that invented Pasticciotto and taste this delightful treat. Next, we'll visit the Cathedral of Santa Caterina before giving you some free time to explore the area. Upon returning to the farmhouse, we'll recreate Pasticciotto with Chef Emilio. Dinner will be a mouthwatering seafood dish.
Day 4 (Visit all the corners of lecce and eat Napoletan pizza in tricase)
Today, we'll devote the day to exploring one of Italy's most beautiful cities, Lecce, known as the Florence of the South for its baroque architecture. A knowledgeable guide will lead us through the most beautiful parts of the city, followed by free time to indulge in some of the area's exquisite local dishes. We'll return to the farmhouse for dinner, where we'll enjoy traditional Napoletana pizza at Tricase.
Day 5 (Boat trip Castro or circuit Spa and cooking typical pasta from Salento)
After breakfast, we'll head to Castro, a charming fishing village, for a boat trip, weather permitting. If the weather or time is not suitable, if time does not allow depending on the weather we will dedicate ourselves to our well-being and we will make a spa circuit to relax.We'll have lunch in Castro and then give you free time to enjoy the stunning views. In the afternoon, we'll dedicate ourselves to cooking and learn how to make traditional pasta from Salento with Chef Emilio. After cooking, we'll sit down to enjoy the pasta with some good wine..
-Day 6 (Wine, Mozzarella Tasting and Otranto)
Your last day will be devoted to gastronomy. We'll visit a Caesificio to see how Mozzarella is made and taste some freshly made mozzarella. Later, you'll have free time to eat or shop. We'll return to the farmhouse to relax and visit a local winery to learn about their history and sample some of their wines. That evening, we'll serve traditional dishes for dinner at the farmhouse.
Day7 (End of tour thank you for choosing us)
-We will have breakfast for the last time in the farmhouse and with great regret we will take you to the airport.
