
Tour Overview
Join this walking tour and immerse yourself in the nature and wildlife of Chianti land, followed by a wine tasting of three amazing locally produced wines.
The area you walk through has a particular microclimate, which allows the growth of wild and fragrant flowers. There will be views of Tuscany as far as the eye can see, from the northern Apennines to the rolling hills of Chianti.
After two hours of walking surrounded by nature, you will visit a cellar and taste three locally produced wines during lunch. The delicious lunch consists of an appetiser and pasta or a main course and dessert.
Along the way you will also encounter a monastery, with medieval sobriety and artistic wealth. It will be an unexpected and overwhelming surprise, with its works of art and its history.
Please note: Trekking shoes, sun cream, hat are highly recommended.
Length of hiking path: 10 kilometres, difference in height: 300 metres. 4 hours of trekking.
