Tour Overview
The first stop will be in a cheese producer, where you will have the chance to get to understand the whole process of creating this gastronomic wonder and taste the famous Serra da Estrela Cheese!
The morning is just getting started! We will now start our adventure into discovering the “Novo Dão” wines, produced with consciousness and knowledge passed from generation to generation, something that really put the region of Dão in the map.We will start by visiting a wine estate owned by the same family for at least 4 generations. In this winery, the love for nature is a core value, as the wines are produced with minimal human intervention, taking advantage of the best qualities that nature gives to the grapes. A guided visit through the property and a tasting of unique DOC Dão wines awaits us!
Enjoy a delicious lunch at the winery’s centenary family-owned house, where a 3 course regional meal will be waiting for you!
After lunch it is time to continue with our adventure through Dão and keep visiting wineries known in the region for the combination of ancestral knowledge and innovation when it comes to producing the exceptional DOC Dão table wines!
