3 days wine tour in Rioja and Ribera del Duero

This tour is designed for lovers of Spanish wines.  You can start from Madrid or from Basque Country visiting the two most popular wine regions in Spain;  Rioja and Ribera del Duero.  

Your private Sommelier will pick you up at the meeting point to take you to the Ribera del Duero wine region. On your way to the wine region you will have time to stop in the city of Segovia. There you will have the opportunity to visit the city with a panoramic tour and the entrance to the monuments of interest in Segovia like its aqueduct, cathedral and castle and a complete explanation inside After the visit you can enjoy a traditional lunch. During the afternoon we continue to Ribera del Duero and we visit a winery where to learn about the characteristics of the area and the wines. After the visit of the winery, your guide will dropp you off in your desired location in Ribera del Duero

During the second day you will discover some of the wineries in the region of Ribera del Duero and Rioja. Your guide will pick you up in your desired location in the area of Ribera del Duero and will accompany you to visit a familiar winery during the morning. After the winery you continue the way to Rioja and we stop in Burgos to discover places of important artistic beauty such as the Cathedral. Before we continue to the next winery some time in the city for lunch. After the visit of Burgos we arrive to Rioja to visit and taste of wine in some of the wineries. At the end of the day, your guide will dropp you of in the location of your choice.

Last day, during the morning, your guide will accompany you to visit and taste wine in Haro, one of the most famous cities in Rioja for the production of wines. Your guide will explain you all the details about the history of Rioja and the characteristics of the land and its wine. After the first winery visit is still possible to do a visit in another winery in the region to discover new wines and complete a full wine experience of wine in Rioja. Once the tasting in the second winery finish you have free time before to came back to Madrid. Once you arrive to Madrid, your guide will dropp you off in a location of your choice in the city. You can decide to finish your tour in Rioja, Ribera del Duero or Basque Country.

During the weekends, most wineries are closed to the public.

The guide's availability per day will be a maximum of 8 hours.
