Valparaiso has the three C’s - charm, colour and cerros (hills). This beautifully rustic and hilly city is located just under two hours away from the capital of Chile, Santiago. It exudes a relaxed atmosphere that gives those lucky enough to pass through the feeling that “anything goes” and to come as you are. The edgy city has attracted the likes of poets, musicians, artists and writers all due to its colourful charm.

You’ll easily find some of the best street art this side of South America in Valparaiso, but it's art, escaleras (stairways), alleys and alluring little-known spots aren’t the only things that make this coastal city so desirable to visit. Aside from being a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it also provides a fantastic base for those who want to travel a little further out to the wine-producing regions of Casablanca and San Antonio Valley.

Wine and food lovers should try the fresh and flavoursome seafood from the port city and pair it with the quality wines of the valley for a complete tasting experience.
