Valle Galfina Farmhouse

In 2005, the Scilio family carefully restored an old building, also part of the estate, into an Agriturismo. Mount Etna and its vineyards are splendid surroundings for the Agriturismo Valle Galfina. The resort is part of the Scilio family wine estate, that for generations have been producing the enticing Etna wines.

The Building, once also a family residence, has been refurbished and visiting guests can spend a pleasant and relaxing holiday in a serene and rural atmosphere and enjoy the typical local cuisine and the Etna wines of the Scilio Estate, swimming and relaxing by the pool in full view of Mount Etna. One feels the sensation of being able to reach out and touch the Volcano.

Linguaglossa is a perfect starting point for excursions to Etna and various other places of interest that are ‘must see’ sights for visitors touring Sicily. Taormina, Acireale, Catania and Syracuse are within easy reach as well as other important and suggestive testimonials of Sicily’s history with it’s variety of seasonal images,colours and cuisine.

The wine hotel has 8 rooms with accommodation for 28 persons, a dining room, a room for wine tasting and a fully equipped meeting/conference room. A professional kitchen, available for hosting cooking classes. Each room is equipped with bathroom, TV service, mini­bar, internet point. Large outdoor spaces allow to organize open air events.

The resort has a large car park, which is spread over three levels. Guests are also given the option to purchase additional services such as: guided excursions to Mount Etna, hiking, cooking classes and cultural events.
