Romantic Honeymoon Cottage
The freestanding thatched cottage, dating back to 1707, is the oldest building on the Estate and initially served as the wine cellar. It has been lovingly restored and is ideal for honeymoon couples or guests seeking additional privacy. With a footprint of 85 sqm the ground floor boasts a large open plan lounge and two bathrooms (one with shower and one with a jet bath). Four French doors lead to private patio overlooking the horse paddocks and the Groenberg Mountains. A staircase leads to the spacious bedroom under the thatched roof which overlooks the paddocks and the Manor House. The bedroom consists of a king size bed, a dressing table and a separate small toilet room. As it stands a short distance from the main house, the cottage offers a private minibar.
