The core of the house features a high, open plan double-story hall, bathed in light and with panoramic views into the bay. Enjoy an open fireplace, the extra-large family dining table, the state-of-the-art kitchen with separate scullery, and access points to the pool and garden area as well as the cosy courtyard with its herbal garden. On the first floor, the gallery with its sweeping views into the bay and its colonial living and study area, reveals the real beauty of the exceptional setting of the house. The perfect place for your homely evenings is in front of the open fireplace in the separate TV-lounge.

The 4000 square meter gardens of KaapKloof Manor have been arranged with an amazing passion for detail. You will observe here indigenous vegetation, flowering fynbos, various birdlife and impressive African art sculptures. Unwind on the sheltered patio, in the heated saltwater swimming pool and its outside shower, or sneak into the hidden wine cellar to indulge in some of South Africa’s best wines. When the time for sundowners arises, the scenery transforms into a theatre of light, immersing the mountains and the bay into shades of orange, red and violet. In the cozy backyard you will find fresh herbs for cooking and a shady wooden table for board game afternoons and a High Tea.
KaapKloof Manor lays nestled on the backdrops of the Twelve Apostles Mountains, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on top of Hout Bay, one of Cape Town’s most exclusive and tranquil suburbs. Hout Bay, as a quaint family and fisherman’s village, is an ideal and central starting point to discover the tremendous diversity of the Cape Peninsula region. Shops, markets, exquisite restaurants, the most beautiful natural beaches and the lively harbor are only a few minutes down the road.
Please note: The rate is based on 4 Persons and 2 babies (0 – 2 years) max per night, inclusive of VAT. Every additional Person has to pay a supplement of ZAR 450 per night, in Festive Season ( December 15th – January 15th) ZAR 650. Children (3 – 12 years) pay 50%. In the course of Low-Season (June 01 till August 31) there is no additional supplement. A minimum stay of 5 nights applies for all bookings. For kids over the age of 12 years the adult surcharge applies.
