If you are visiting Budapest and would like to turn your city break into a real wine holiday, this full-day tour is the one for you.
Travel from Budapest to discover Hungary's southernmost wine region and spend the day visiting wineries and tasting Hungary's best red wines.
You'll visit the charming village of Villány and stop at three of the village's best wineries including a family-run, boutique winery, and a large, state-of-the-art winery which is one of Hungary's most famous. You’ll visit the production areas, wander in the vineyards, and tour the ageing cellars (ranging from 500-year-old ancient hand-carved ones to the ultra-modern).
You'll be treated to a platter of local cheese or charcuterie with one of the tastings,as well as a delicious three-course lunch either at a winery or a restaurant in the historic centre of town.
During the day you'll meet the winemakers, walk in the gorgeous hilly vineyards, taste a variety of local artisan cheese, and learn all about the developing Hungarian wine scene.

Within 72 hours all reservations are final and cannot be refunded.
In order to issue a refund on tours cancelled up to 72 hours in advance, the cancellation must be made via email.
No shows are treated as last-minute cancellations and are non-refundable.
