Description

Discover Cantine Masi, located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region. With its deep roots in one of Italy's best wine regions, Masi makes quality wines that are an expression of the values of their territory of origin.
Principally using native grapes and indigenous methods for the Venetian territories, Masi makes what Sandro Boscaini, the guiding light in the company, likes to call "modern wines with an ancient heart", using constant technological updates.
Today, Masi is a leader in the production of Amarone and has acknowledged expertise in the Appassimento technique.
The “Masi Wine Experience” is the culture and hospitality project that Masi offers the public by opening not just the doors of its historic headquarters in Valpolicella, Garda Lake but also the other centres of hospitality where Masi’s spirit and philosophy have become the guiding principles.

Discover Cantine Masi, located in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica region. With its deep roots in one of Italy's best wine regions, Masi makes quality wines that are an expression of the values of their territory of origin.

The “Masi Wine Experience” is the culture and hospitality project that Masi offers the public by opening not just the doors of its historic headquarters in Valpolicella, Garda Lake but also the other centres of hospitality where Masi’s spirit and philosophy have become the guiding principles.
Visiting guests have the chance to stay overnight at the Serego Alighieri Estate, in the historic Foresteria, redesigned to contain eight appartments which are decorated in the traditional style of country gentlefolk: an oasis of peace in which to take a leisurely dip into the archive of the noble family of the Counts Serego Alighieri in the Valpolicella.
Wine lovers can see the drying room where the grapes are air dried using Appassimento, a technique for which Masi’s expertise is known around the world, followed by a visit to the cellars, amongst the biggest in Italy, including the experimental cellar where the Masi Technical Group apply and evaluate the most up to date technology for vinification and refinement.
Just outside Lazise on Lake Garda, Masi Tenuta Canova gives a warm welcome to foodies and winelovers alike. Reservations can be made for guided tours of the estate, including the Fruttaio (drying loft) for “appassimento” and the cellars where the famous Campofiorin gets its barrel ageing.
The Wine Shop displays the entire range of Masi wines, while the Wine Bar “Vino e Cucina” offers tastings accompanied by food inspired by local culinary traditions in seasonal menus that contain the very best ingredients. The new Wine Discovery Museum completes the programme with a multi-media journey through viticulture and winemaking practices.
