Winery Overview

Tenuta di Castellaro is a wine estate set in the heart of Lipari, 7.4 km from Museo Archeologico Regionale Eoliano, in Sicily.

At 350 meters above sea level, facing Alicudi, Filicudi, and Salina, our 22 hectares of vineyards—Caolino, Gelso, Lisca, Panoramica, and Cipressi—thrive on volcanic sandy soils rich in minerals, which impart structure and longevity to the wines.

Tenuta di Castellaro is the emblem of love for the land and of respect for traditions, pure expression of the uncontamined volcanic territory of Lipari.

The elegance of the vineyard enhances the rare beauty of the native flora, creating a magical landscape full of contrasts, to be experienced through unique emotions with our food and wine tours, for wich booking is necessary.

From 2025 season our wines, combined with a new dining concept, will offer exciting and unforgettable moments immersed in the magic taste and nature.

A journey through time to discover the great classics of the Tenuta di Castellaro.

The tasting includes three glasses of wine: Bianco Pomice Terre Siciliane Bianco IGT, Nero Ossidiana Terre Siciliane Rosso IGT and Malvasia delle Lipari DOC passito with a selection of daily gastronomic proposal from Castellaro Bistrot.

The visit can take place along with a party of other visitors and lasts two hours.

Available every day at 12.30pm, booking is required.

After a short walk you will reach a panoramic spot immersed in the vineyard where you'll taste our wines in freedom. While admiring Alicudi, Filicudi and Salina islands, the magic will happen, standing in front of the extraordinary immensity of the sea.

The pic-nic basket is perfect for two people and includes a bottle of wine with daily gastronomic proposal from Castellaro Bistrot

The guided tour in the cellar together with a short walk in the vineyard, will let you discover the territory, the birth of the agronomic wine project and much more.
